Electronic Charts new editions.

The new editions of ENCs allows the shipping industry to deal with the major changes brought about by the routeing system. Including the changes to the navigational aids.
The Danish Geodata Agency's paper chart no. 100 gives a good overview of all the route system elements in Kattegat. Although as a navigator you usually carry out route planning using the ENC and ECDIS, it can be advantageous to obtain this paper map well in advance of the new route system being established.

Notes on minimum depth and maximum draft for the recommended routes and deep water routes are available in the new versions of ENC. They are associated with the individual route elements and can be called up using the function Pick Report.
