Tender for a New Depth Database Management System

06-06-2018

The Danish Geodata Agency (Geodatastyrelsen) has published a tender for the procurement of a new depth data management system that is capable of storage, quality assurance and distribution of bathymetric data within the domain of the Danish Hydrographic Office

Due to an exponential increase in data volume, a wider variety of data sources and the emergence of new technologies managed by Geodatastyrelsen, a new system is required to ensure efficient management of depth data and will contribute to optimising the production chain from survey to chart production (from ping to chart).

The procurement includes customisation, implementation, migration from current systems, support, consultancy services and further development.

The contract notice is published in the Supplement to the Official Journal of the European Union (OJ/S) and is available on the TED website (notice number 2018/S 104-237541).
